The GFB VTA with integrated solenoid is an Australian-made diverter valve for EA113 and EA888 1.8T and 2.0T engines in the Audi A3 and S3 (8P), Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk5 and Mk6) and Skoda Octavia (1Z). It is a direct bolt-on only where the factory diverter valve is Pierburg branded, so check which valve your car has before ordering. It cures the boost leaks and slow throttle response of the factory unit, holding boost reliably to 345 kPa (50 psi) and recovering boost faster than the factory on-off valve. A pilot actuation system moves the piston progressively for smoother response, and the valve adds an aggressive blow-off sound.
