The GFB WGA is a direct bolt-on internal wastegate actuator for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX (CT9A) with the factory turbo. Its industry-first Nomex-reinforced diaphragm and PEEK pivoting rod guide give more control authority from a shorter, more compact housing, so the turbo spools sooner, holds boost better at high rpm and follows a far steadier curve than with the factory actuator. It comes with 69 kPa (10 psi) and 48 kPa (7 psi) springs fitted for a base pressure of about 117 kPa (17 psi), plus a 34 kPa (5 psi) spring for further tuning. Because it lifts boost beyond factory settings, plan on a professional retune once it is fitted.
