The ID1700x (listed here as the 1750-XDS) is a fuel injector from Injector Dynamics, developed with Bosch Motorsport and positioned between the ID1300x and the ID2000. Its nominal flow rate is 1725cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), and corrosion-resistant internals make it compatible with methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels. Injector Dynamics says a unique magnetic circuit makes it immune to the voltage and pressure sensitivity problems of other high impedance, high flow injectors. It is intended mainly for delivering E85 to boosted engines, and the brand notes it should not be expected to give flawless idle and cruise mixtures on gasoline.
