This I-beam conrod kit from JDY Performance is made for the 3.0T BMW S58 (S58B30) engine in the G80 M3, G81 M3 Touring, G82 and G83 M4, and G87 M2. The rods are 4340 steel, and JDY says the I-beam section spreads stress across the rod to limit flex and that the kit is designed for 2000HP+ setups. A lubrication groove in the small end feeds the wrist pins and an extra groove supplies the crankshaft bearings, while tapered small ends allow stock or stock-style pistons to be used.
