The ARM Motorsports MK6 GTI 3" Catted Downpipe is a stainless steel downpipe with a 200 cell sport catalytic converter for 2.0T VW and Audi models, including the Mk6 GTI, and it is designed to fit both CBFA and CCTA engines. ARM says it adds up to +20whp and +30wtq, improves turbo spool so the car hits boost sooner at lower rpm, and that its catalytic converter is significantly less restrictive than the OEM unit. The brand also says keeping a catalyst reduces the exhaust fume smell and some of the high-pitched rasp of a catless downpipe, though it notes a catted downpipe does not guarantee a car will pass emissions. It uses full 3" stainless construction with smooth bends, a CNC-machined turbo flange with flex joint, and a 3" to 2.25" reducer for the stock exhaust or a 3" aftermarket turbo-back system.
