The ARM Motorsports MK7 GTI Charge Pipes kit replaces the restrictive 1.5" plastic factory charge piping on MQB cars with a consistent 2.5" diameter system made from T6061 aluminium and finished in wrinkle black. ARM says the larger and smoother piping improves airflow and speeds up turbo spool compared with the factory pipes, which have several changes in shape along their length. The kit has two sections, a turbo outlet pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and a throttle body pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body, and the throttle body section has an integrated 1/8" NPT port for methanol or nitrous injection. The kit comes with ARM's CNC machined Turbo Muffler Delete, 6 layer reinforced silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps, and ARM says it fits the OEM intercooler, the ARM FMIC kit and other stock-location upgraded intercoolers that also fit the stock charge piping.
