Motul 8100 Power is a 100% synthetic, ester-based engine oil inspired by competition and designed for tuned or high performance petrol and diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or indirect injection. Motul says its ester technology gives the oil film strong resistance at very high temperatures, supporting power, torque and wear protection across a wide range of revs and temperatures, even in the harshest road or track conditions. Motul adds that the oil protects downsized engines from low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and that its low viscosity helps engine response and maximum power. The oil is offered in 0W20, 5W30, 5W40 and 5W50 grades, is compatible with catalytic converters and suits leaded and unleaded petrol, ethanol, LPG, diesel and biofuels.
