Motul Gear Competition is a 75W140 gear oil designed for racing gearboxes, including speedway, rally and raid applications. Motul lists it for hypoid differentials with a limited slip system (LS or LSD), gearboxes with an integrated limited slip differential, mechanical transmissions, synchronised and non-synchronised gearboxes and transfer gearboxes. It is intended for conditions from shock and heavy loads at low rpm to moderate loads at high rpm. The oil is listed against API GL-5, and Motul also lists it as above existing standards.
