ARM Motorsports MQB Turbo Muffler Delete

The ARM Motorsports MQB Turbo Muffler Delete replaces the factory turbo muffler on MQB platform Audi A3, S3 and TT and Volkswagen Golf, Golf R, Alltrack and Jetta GLI models with the 1.8T or 2.0T Gen 3 engine. ARM says the factory muffler is vented to reduce turbo noise for the average buyer, whereas its version is solid all the way through to bring out more turbo sound. It has a larger 52mm inside diameter than the factory 46mm unit to let more air flow, and it is made from T6061 aluminium. Because the outside diameter is a larger 65mm, ARM says an upgraded charge pipe or silicone reducer is needed to install it properly.
