Paragon PPS370 Titanium Brake Pad Shims (Suit Brembo 4 pot STI, Civic Type R)

Paragon's PPS370 titanium brake pad shims sit between the brake pad and caliper to act as a thermal barrier on track and race cars. They are made from 0.5mm thick Grade 5 titanium (6AL-4V / ASTM B348), and titanium's much lower thermal conductivity reduces the heat passing from the pads into the caliper pistons, seals and brake fluid. Paragon says this helps protect the caliper seals, dust boots and fluid, and can reduce the likelihood of discolouration on calipers such as the OEM Brembo 4-piston units on the Civic Type R FK8. The shims work with factory calipers and OEM or aftermarket pads, and a set of 4 covers one axle.
