These titanium brake pad shims suit the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla and sit between the brake pads and calipers. They are made from Grade 5 titanium (6AL-4V / ASTM B348) at 0.5mm thick, and Paragon says the low thermal conductivity of titanium lets them act as an effective thermal barrier. Per Paragon, the aim is to reduce heat transfer from the pads into the calipers and brake fluid, which helps protect seals, dust boots and fluid on track. Each set holds four shims, enough for one axle, and works with stock calipers and factory or aftermarket pads.
