Process West Verticooler Intercooler Kit - Subaru WRX (VA) 2015-2021

The Process West Verticooler Kit is a slant-mounted intercooler upgrade for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX VA with the FA20DIT engine. The factory top mount dumps heated air onto the engine block, causing heat soak and power loss in sustained driving, so the Verticooler mounts a large 400 x 205 x 120mm core about 15 degrees from vertical with a vehicle-specific bonnet duct. Keeping intake air temperatures lower gives more consistent throttle response and sustained boost: at Wakefield Park in about 14°C ambient it held intake temperature to 23°C or less over 7-10 minute flat-out runs, where the factory cooler heat-soaked. The kit includes the satin black core, bonnet duct and splitter, silicone hoses and constant-tension clamps, with an optional hose available for tube-style outlet turbos.
