RacingLine Magnetic Sump Oil Drain Plug: Many Models

This magnetic billet sump plug from RacingLine replaces the standard engine oil drain plug on a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models. Its magnet attracts and holds the fine ferrous and abrasive metal particles that drivetrain oils carry, keeping them out of the engine's lubrication system. RacingLine says the benefit grows the harder the engine works, because more debris is produced under load. It is fitted at the next oil change by screwing it in place of the original plug.
