This kit replaces the factory oil drain plug on Audi and Volkswagen engines fitted with a metal oil pan. The plug is CNC-machined from billet 304 stainless steel and has a permanently attached neodymium magnet. The magnet attracts and holds the fine ferrous particles produced by normal wear, keeping them from circulating through the lubrication system. 034Motorsport says this helps limit wear on internal engine components.
