This boost tap kit replaces the factory spacer between the throttle body and charge pipe on Audi's 3.0 TFSI and 2.9 TFSI models, including the EA839-powered B9 and B9.5 S4, S5 and SQ5, giving easy access for monitoring boost and vacuum. It is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium with a black anodised finish, and 034Motorsport notes that it will never warp or crack. Two ports allow for a boost gauge, temperature sensor, water-methanol injection or nitrous injection, and a 1/8 barb fitting is supplied for the boost gauge hose. The tap drops in without modifying the charge pipes and takes around 30 minutes to install.
