This catch can kit replaces the PCV system on transverse EA113 2.0T FSI engines, including the Mk5 Volkswagen GTI, Mk6 Golf R, 8P Audi A3 and S3 and 8J Audi TT and TTS. It pairs 034Motorsport's own modular catch can with a CNC-machined billet valve cover breather adapter to keep crankcase ventilation working properly while stopping oil and water vapour from reaching the intake tract. Keeping oil off the intake manifold and intake valves, 034Motorsport says, drastically reduces carbon build-up and extends the life of the intake manifold flapper assembly. The kit bolts in without drilling, keeps the factory engine cover and removes a potential boost leak at the factory PCV assembly.
