This Density Line kit replaces all eight front upper and lower control arms on early B8 Audi models built up to 2 November 2009, which use the M12 ball joint, and on C7 A6 and A7 models built up to 15 August 2011. 034Motorsport notes the factory arms can start wearing out from around 60,000 km, especially on cars driven hard, as degraded bushings and worn ball joints upset the alignment and blunt steering precision. The Density Line arms use fluid-free 65 durometer rubber bushings and high-quality ball joints, and the kit upgrades early cars to new M14 ball joints. The brand says they give tighter handling and sharper steering than new factory arms, and it strongly recommends professional installation with the suspension at static ride height before the bushings are tightened.
