This kit supplies a genuine Volkswagen vacuum pump from the EA888 Gen 3 2.0T engine, together with a new OEM gasket. It can replace a worn vacuum pump on a 2.0T, or allow EA888 Gen 3 1.8T engines to run the larger 2.0T-style high pressure fuel pump upgrades that tuned cars need for ethanol, race fuel and bigger turbo setups. 034Motorsport says pairing it with the brand's Fuel Pump Upgrade (034-106-6060) gives 38.6% more fuel flow than the standard OE 2.0T pump. It will not work with the stock 1.8T fuel pump, so 1.8T owners need the upgraded pump as well.
