These billet aluminium adapter plates let newer, more reliable 2.0T FSI ignition coils be fitted to Audi and Volkswagen 1.8T 20V, 2.7T 30V and 4.2L 40V engines. Each adapter is CNC machined, black anodised and supplied with installation hardware. They are sold individually, so a 1.8T needs four, a 2.7T six and a 4.2L eight. Some early cars with ignition control modules and 3-wire non-TTL coils may need additional wiring to run FSI coils.
