The GTX4294R is a Garrett GTX-series turbocharger with a billet compressor wheel, offered by 034Motorsport for custom turbo builds. Garrett's GTX wheels use its latest aerodynamic design, which 034Motorsport says delivers the flow of the next size up while keeping the surge and spool characteristics of the original GT turbo. In practice the GTX4294R spools like a GT4294R but flows like a GT4202R, and Garrett publishes flow maps for accurate turbo matching. It is supplied without a turbine housing so it can drop into an existing installation, with turbine housings sold separately.
