034Motorsport's High Output Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play replacement for the factory coils on a wide range of Audi and Volkswagen EA8XX-family engines, including the 1.8T and 2.0T four-cylinders, the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder and the 2.9, 3.0 and 4.0 TFSI engines. 034Motorsport quotes a 10 percent increase in energy output over the stock coils, and an integrated CNC-machined heat sink draws excess heat away from each coil. This version has a yellow housing with the 034 logo. On EA839 V6 engines the factory wiring harness sits on top of the coils and restricts airflow, so 034Motorsport supplies billet aluminium harness spacers with its pack of six, which it says are required for all EA839 V6 applications.
