034Motorsport Metal Replacement Engine Cover Stud Kit - Audi B9 & C8 Chassis - 034-1ZZ-0016
This kit replaces the plastic factory engine cover standoffs with four ball studs machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium. 034Motorsport points out that the factory plastic studs turn brittle with age and can snap, leaving the engine cover loose in the engine bay where it becomes a fire risk. The billet studs are far more heat resistant, carry a clear anodised finish and stand up to the cover being removed and refitted many times. They suit B9 and B9.5 Audi S4, S5, SQ5, RS4 and RS5 models, C8 A6, A7 and allroad 3.0 TFSI models and the R8, and 034Motorsport says installation takes around five minutes.
