This Density Line set replaces the factory engine, transmission and dogbone mounts on Mk4 Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Jetta and New Beetle models and 8L Audi A3 and S3 and 8N TT models with the 1.8T, 2.0L or TDI engines. 034Motorsport makes the mounts from high-durometer rubber in void-free, fluid-free construction to remove the slop of the factory mounts, and redesigned the cast aluminium bodies to handle spirited driving. In Street Density form the brand rates the mounts at approximately 60% stiffer than stock, cutting drivetrain slop and wheel hop and sharpening shifts without a significant increase in cabin noise, vibration or harshness. 034Motorsport recommends Street Density for daily-driven cars and backs the set with a 1-year limited replacement warranty.
