This Track Density mount pair replaces the factory engine and transmission mounts on Mk4 Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Jetta, GLI and New Beetle models and the 8L Audi A3 and S3 and 8N TT with 1.8T, 2.0L or TDI engines. The void-free, solid-filled mounts use 80 durometer rubber, which 034Motorsport rates at around 120 percent stiffer than stock overall, and the cast aluminium bodies are redesigned to handle the added stress of spirited driving. The brand says the result is a locked-down drivetrain, solid shifting and virtually no wheel hop, but with a noticeable increase in cabin noise, vibration and harshness, so it recommends Track Density for purpose-built track cars. The pair includes one engine mount and one transmission mount as a complete drop-in replacement, backed by a 1 year limited replacement warranty.
