This Street Density engine mount pair is a complete drop-in replacement for the factory engine and transmission mounts on the Mk4 Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Jetta and New Beetle, the 8L Audi A3 and S3 and the 8N Audi TT. It is made from 50 durometer rubber, which 034Motorsport says is approximately 25% stiffer than stock, and the void-free, solid-filled design makes the mount approximately 60% stiffer overall. The cast aluminium mount bodies are redesigned for spirited driving, and the brand describes the pair as a re-engineered solution rather than inserts for the factory mounts. 034Motorsport says the result is greatly reduced drivetrain slop, crisper shifting and minimal wheel hop without a significant increase in noise, vibration or harshness in the cabin.
