034Motorsport Raw Coil Cover, Audi/Volkswagen 1.8T, Stainless Steel - 034-107-Z018-R
This 304 stainless steel coil cover replaces the plastic factory cover on the Audi and Volkswagen 1.8T engine, supplied here in a raw stainless finish. It is precision stamped and bent rather than hand made, with slotted mounting holes for a versatile, accurate fit, and it shields the coils from radiant heat, particularly in big turbo applications. Fitting it requires trimming one factory cover mounting boss by about 3/8", although the stock cover can still be refitted later using a spacer. Mounting hardware is included, and the cover does not fit the Mk1 Audi TT or TT 225.
