The Res-X Front Resonator Delete replaces the factory front bottle resonators on the B9 and B9.5 Audi SQ5 3.0 TFSI with a pair of 304 stainless steel delete pipes in a titanium-look finish. 034Motorsport says the change brings a deeper, throatier note under hard acceleration with no noticeable cabin drone while the factory catalysts and downpipe are retained. It bolts in with the supplied 60mm clamps, needs no welding and is fully reversible, and at 4.90 lbs (6.75 lbs with clamps) the pipes weigh less than the 7.95 lb factory resonators. For more volume, the brand suggests pairing it with its rear Res-X resonator delete and X-pipe.
