034Motorsport Spherical Rear Trailing Arm Kit, Volkswagen MK7 Golf GTI/R & Audi 8V/8S A3/S3/TT/TTS - 034-401-1033
This kit replaces the rubber bushings in the rear trailing arms of MQB and MQB EVO platform cars, including the Mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI, Mk7 and Mk8 Golf R, and the Audi A3, S3, RS3, TT, TTS and TT RS. 034Motorsport explains that the factory bushings flex under load, making the rear feel vague, upsetting the suspension geometry and adding understeer, especially on bumpy corners. In their place the kit uses genuine Aurora spherical bearings with a Teflon race lining, held in black anodised billet aluminium housings, so the arm can articulate freely without binding or deflection. It comes fully assembled on new factory steel trailing arms for a bolt-in install, and the bearings can be rebuilt later.
