The CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 is a vehicle-specific data display for the Audi A3, S3 and RS3 8Y that turns an air vent into a configurable screen. The vehicle-specific bezel still lets air flow past the display, and CANchecked says most displays come with illustrated instructions so an owner can fit one without a workshop. It reads in-depth vehicle data from the CAN bus on a touchscreen navigated with swipe gestures, and pages can be built from 20 widget types. Alarms, logging to an internal SD card and a built-in performance meter are part of the package.
