This Invidia R400 valved turbo-back exhaust is made for the Volkswagen Golf R Mk7.5 and is offered with a choice of five tip finishes. Invidia calls the R400 its most popular system, built to sit in the sound gap between its Q300 and N1 systems, with an aggressive note and less harsh cabin noise, especially at highway speeds. The downpipe uses a wider pipe and smooth bends so the turbocharger exhales with fewer restrictions, which Invidia says adds horsepower and torque and cuts turbo lag, and laser-cut cast steel flanges are used for leak-free reliability. Invidia says the system is a bolt-on for right-hand-drive vehicles with factory O2 sensor locations retained, and that its systems are developed from a 3D scan of the underside of the car.
