The Leyo Motorsport Turbo Muffler Delete is a one-piece replacement for the factory turbo muffler on MQB cars with the 1.8T or 2.0T engine, listed for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 and Mk7.5, Audi S3 8V and Audi TT Mk3. Leyo Motorsport calls the OEM muffler a wasteful, restrictive part and says its 6061 billet aluminium design, with a trumpet shape for flow and sound, allows greater throttle response, more aggressive power and a better turbo spool. It is finished in a hard anodised coating, machined to 0.01mm tolerance and includes dual O-ring seals that the brand says prolong turbo life. Leyo Motorsport designed it in-house and tested it with its own team.
